How about print an announcement on pieces papers and post it at all the classroom doors over the faculty?
I dunno, but it looks like many people still don't realize about the existence of this 'edupos' thing.
OK some suggestions of events:
1. Microsoft Office 2007 Training.
(It looks too simple, but in fact, we can find EndNote in the MS-Word2007, and SPSS is included in MS-Excel2007, also most of our friends Powerpoint presentation looks dull!)
2. Eid Celebration for ALL postgrads and the staff. (It has to be announced to the lecturers as well, so they will announce to the students)
3. Edupos CAMP for new students. (We can use the recreational forest to have BBQ and some orientation for the newbies. It doesn't have to be an overnight camp, though)
4. Mini-Conference on any papers by postgrad studs, where it might lead to a mini-journal.
5. I'm thinking about anything else... after I made sure somebody else read my number 1 to 4. :-D
Good suggestion... so we will have Eid Celebration for ALL postgrads and the staff next week.
For microsoft training... how about we share each other any knowledge that we have. I volunteer to conduct one basic interactive power point.. If i can get many participants respon, maybe we can have that after exam. Around December... so how????
Yup for conference as you suggest, therefore we have EduPres 2008, don't forget to submit uor paper ok??
CAMP??? i think we should consider about that, so we can bring along our family together... Maybe it can be at our "Gunung Pulai". We bring potluck, share each other, maybe share some budget to buy those seafood, meat and etc for BBQ. Before next semester begin, i think we should have this CAMP... Any respon on this...
Good luck for coming final exam... We in Research method 2 will have our long exam on 6th of Nov 08..
